No Starlink deal announced. LATAM expanded its SES deal instead — multi-orbit GEO plus Eutelsat OneWeb LEO connectivity — investing over US$25 million to equip more than 60 new Airbus and Embraer aircraft.

LATAM selected SES multi-orbit inflight connectivity: more than 60 Airbus (A320neo and A321XLR) and Embraer (E195-E2) aircraft will be equipped with SES services in the coming years.
The LATAM system is the Gilat Sidewinder electronically steered antenna, giving access to SES's global constellation of GEO satellites plus leased capacity on the Eutelsat OneWeb LEO constellation.
LATAM said on August 25, 2026 that it will invest more than US$25 million in the programme and offer the service free of charge to LATAM Pass members. Neither this announcement nor the SES release names Starlink.
